PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a dumping alloy having an excellent characteristics at a low cost without repeating multiple processes by making use of thin plates of Ni and of Ti as raw materials, and the dumping alloy made by the method.;SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the dumping alloy is characterized by the way that a metallic plate, which is formed of a multi-layer structure by alternately laminating and integrating Ni plates and Ti plates in ten layers or more in total, then joining each layer with metallic contact by pressure welding by a hot rolling, or a metallic plate, which is formed of a multi-layer structure by further laminating and integrating the metallic plates of another ten layers or more, then joining each layer with metallic contact by pressure welding by a hot rolling, is heat treated at a temperature not higher than the eutectic point of a Ni-Ti alloy (942°C) immediately or after cold rolled.
