PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a display improving the amusement by displaying a moving picture, a still picture, or the combination on the progress of the game machine.;SOLUTION: In the direction of a general screen except for a big win and ready-to-win where a cycle of fluctuating, stopping, and settling identification information is repeated, the identification information is made to stop simultaneously with the moving picture expression which a hit character hits the identification information and the screen is made to change into a picture which an opponent character is received the hit according to the stopped action. An amusing and refreshing picture is provided to the general screen, which the player comes in contact with for a long time, so that the game machine and game method hardly getting tired of can be provided.
