PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al wrought alloy superior in durability, from which the elution of Al ion is inhibited in a zinc phosphate treatment, and to provide a simple method for evaluating the elution of Al ion into a zinc phosphate solution from an Al wrought alloy.;SOLUTION: This aluminum wrought alloy comprises that a precipitated quantity of copper to its surface is 7 mg/dm2 or less, when immersed in a salt solution including NaCl of 5% and copper ion of 100 ppm, with pH of 3.0, at 45°C for 20 minutes. This method for evaluating durability against the zinc phosphate solution comprises measuring the precipitated quantity of copper on the surface of the wrought alloy, when the aluminum wrought alloy is immersed in the acidic salt solution including copper ion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
