PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a race bet system which enables a user to bet anywhere by confirming the betting contents and obtaining the latest information on predicted allotments, etc., in real time with reduced mistakes.;SOLUTION: This race bet system is constituted by connecting a portable communication terminal 2 and a betting managing server 3 by a communication line 8; and the portable communication terminal is equipped with a betting information display means 26 which displays betting information sent from the betting managing server and a betting contents determining means 25 which determines the betting contents according to the displayed betting information and the betting managing server is equipped with a betting information database 341 which stores the betting information, a betting information providing means 31 which provides the betting information for the portable communication terminal, authentication decision means 4 and 5 which receive the determined betting contents of the user from the portable communication terminal and decide whether or not the betting contents can be authenticated, and communication means 35, 33, and 36 which send the authentication results to the portable communication terminal of the user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
