PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of grinding evenly an outer face welding bead in the longitudinal direction of a welded pipe without remaining an outer face welding bead and a deep grinding flaw, by utilizing an inner circumferential part of a cylindrical or ringlike grinding tool, high in grinding capacity.;SOLUTION: The inner circumferential part of the cylindrical or ringlike grinding tool 3 equipped to the inner circumferential side of a grinding ring 1 is pressed to the outer face welding bead of the welded pipe P through an expansion body 2, and the grinding tool 3 is rotated to grind the outer face welding bead.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
