COATING MATERIAL COMPOSITION AND NONGLARING HARD COATING FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating material composition which can uniformly form a hard coating layer excellent in nonglaring properties and marring resistance, and a nonglaring hard coating film having a hard coating layer obtained by applying the composition on a film. SOLUTION: A nonglaring hard coating layer is formed on a transparent film by applying thereon a coating composition containing a resin curable by ionizing radiations, a light diffusing agent, and an ethyl cellulose having a weight-average molecular weight of 50,000 to 80,000, in an amount of 0.1 pt.wt. or more to less than 10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the resin and the light diffusing agent.
