PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature rise detector simply manufacturable at a low cost and capable of easily detecting whether each of frozen items, frozen blood, or the like has so far experienced thawing due to a temperature rise, and to provide a frozen food container utilizing the detector and a temperature rise detecting method.;SOLUTION: This temperature rise detector 1 is equipped with a sealing container 2 for sealing a liquid therein, an absorption member 3 for covering the periphery of the container 2, and a housing body 4 for housing these sealing container 2 and absorption member 3. When the liquid is frozen, the container 2 is destructed by an expansion force of the liquid at the time of freezing and such a state is brought about that the liquid can leak out of the container 2. Thereafter, when the liquid is thawed and liquefied due to a temperature rise and absorbed into the absorption member 3, the state of absorption is checked through a transparent part of the housing body 4 to detect that a temperature rise from a frozen state has been experienced. By mounting the detectors on frozen items, it can be easily detected whether or not each of the frozen items has so far experienced thawing due to a temperature rise.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
