PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code division multi-access receiving method and a code division multi-access receiver which solves the problem that the problem that the constitution of the conventional code division multi-access receiver enlarges, thereby reducing the demodulator circuit constitution and can efficiently demodulate.;SOLUTION: The code division multi-access receiving method and the code division multi-access receiver are as follows. A correlator 8D complex-correlates received data at a maximum data rate, a memory 9D stores the compression correlation result, a correlator 6 complex-correlates the received data at a specified data rate to demodulate control information, a controller 4 detects data rate information, and a combiner 20 combines demodulated data according to the detected data rate information, using the stored complex correlation result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
