PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a customer participation type article developing method which can effectively reflect customer's demands on the specifications of an article.;SOLUTION: When a tire is developed as a new product, a server 2 displays a picture wherein a driver that the development is entrusted to and the performance of the tire are inserted on a user terminal 7 (S4). A user selects the performance of a desired tire or a driver that the user images in the picture (S5). Then the driver and user examine the performance of the tire through bidirectional communication (S7, 8). Consequently, the tire having the performance that the user demands can be developed.
