PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent solitary death and sequela from occurring due to too late discovery by quickly detecting it and notifying the emergency to a proper place by a method giving less psychological/physical load to a user when an elderly living alone falls into the cardiac arrest or unconscious state in a house.;SOLUTION: A sensor sequentially measuring the pulse and the body motion is installed around a wrist of an object so as to detect the cardiac arrest and the stop of the body motion. The information is transmitted to a control unit installed in a building by radio, whether the stop of the body motion is normal sleeping or the pathological unconsciousness is identified, and the information is transmitted to the proper place in emergency.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
