PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method and inspection device obtaining an inspection system in response to mass production by adding epoch making measuring capability as compared with the conventional measuring method.;SOLUTION: In the method and device for measuring the size of a round rod-like product, the positioning and storing groove of the round rod-like product is provided on the outer periphery of a rotating drum or a caterpillar-like belt, and the round rod-like product different in the size or shape of the outside diameter and the length of the rotating and moving product stored in the storing groove is continuously measured by a measuring device provided on the upper part or the side part of the drum or caterpillar-like belt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
