PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved waste separator capable of overcoming problems in that the separation method and the separator in the conventional technique need a lot of steps and time to separate a large amount of waste such as refuse from home and business offices by types of waste, so that the efficiency of separation is extremely low.;SOLUTION: First, the separator is characterized in that a waste 3 from home and business offices can be separated by types of waste by enforcing centrifugal force on the waste and that liquid or gas such as water or air is placed into a cylindrical, spherical or conic waste storing vessel 1 having a rotation shaft 2 in the horizontal direction or the vertical direction so that the waste is ready to be separated. Secondly, the waste separator is characterized in that liquid and gas such as water or air is placed into a waste storing vessel and the waste is separated by types of waste by enforcing buoyancy on the waste caused by balance of the specific gravity.
