ZVS METHOD AND ZVS POWER CONVERTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ZVS method and a ZVS power converter which has no ringing sound, capable of improving many defects caused by the ringing sound symptom, and which is used in an electric power converter.;SOLUTION: An auxiliary reactor La for a ZVS circuit is provided between a primary coil Np for a transformer and a DC connection contact between two power switches Q₁ and Q₂. One or two diode s D₃, D₄ are added to a circuit contact between the primary coil Np for the transformer and the auxiliary reactor La, corresponding to which the type of half-wave rectification or full- wave rectification is the power converter. The diodes D₃, D₄ short-circuit the current of the auxiliary reactor La, by acting with the power switches Q₁, Q₂ which respectively react on, when the ringing sound symptom starts at an L-C circuit formed out of the auxiliary reactor La and a primary stray capacitance of the transformer to restrain the primary stray capacitance voltage of the transformer and block the oscillation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
