PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recognition device or the like which precisely distinguishes a specialty field input from a general field input. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an inputting means 101 which is used to input voice, a phoneme probability computing means 102 which converts voice signals outputted by the means 101 into phonemes, computes a phoneme occurring probability corresponding to each phoneme and outputs phoneme string candidates, a word probability computing means 103 which refers to a phoneme string of an object language, an word mentioned string corresponding to the phoneme string and a phoneme n-gram which stores the occurring probability and computes the word occurring probability of each word candidate corresponding to the phoneme string candidates outputted by the means 102 and a word outputting means 104 which computes a word string candidate that is similar to the voice inputted by the means 101 employing the phoneme occurring probability computed by the means 102 and the word occurring probability computed by the means 103. The phoneme n-gram has specialty and general field phoneme n-gram 106 and 107, respectively.
