VENTILATING SYSTEM FOR EVACUATING ODOR DURING USE OF TOILET TO OUTSIDE WITHOUT DIFFUSING INTO ROOM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a discomfort by directly evacuating the odor from a toilet stool without diffusing the odor and warm lingering scent of feces of the previous user of the toilet into the toilet.;SOLUTION: In a Japanese style toilet bowl prevailing in public toilets, when a suction port is provided at a shielding part, most of the odor during the use of the toilet can be evacuated to the outside without being diffused into the room of the toilet. When the suction port is additionally provided at a step part, the odor can be evacuated more completely, and a toilet environment can be improved remarkably. For a Western style toilet stool, this system is more effective because the toilet stool is used in a closed state. Even in an attachment type evacuation system having a retro-fitted system, the same effect can be provided and, therefore, the system can be installed also in the existing toilets.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
