PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure secure purchase of commodity on a network even for one who has no terminal such as a personal computer having a function of network communication.;SOLUTION: An actual store is installed with an ordering terminal 13 having a function of receiving an order for commodities on a network and a settling terminal 11 having a function of settlement for ordinary commodities and network commodities. An information recording medium 4 is distributed to each customer for controlling personal information such as a name and a home address thereof. When commodities ordered by a customer are selected and the quantity thereof is inputted through the ordering terminal 13, information which identifies the commodity ordered by the customer and the quantity thereof are recorded in the information recording medium 4 owned by the customer. When the settlement for the network commodity is commanded through the settling terminal 11, the identifying information of the commodities and the amount thereof which have been recorded on the information recording medium 4 are read out. Based on the contents, the network commodities are settled, and the personal information controlled by the information recording medium 4 is determined as a destination of the commodities to be controlled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
