PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a blended yarn and a false twisted yarn excellent in bulky texture and soft feeling and having no problem in quality such as frosting and the like by bringing the blended yarn and finished yarn to have a moderate structural difference.;SOLUTION: This polyester based blended yarn comprises a polyester multifilament A and a multifilament B in which a polystyrene polymer and a polyester polymer are conjugated to be a core/sheath type and satisfies the requirements (a)-(c), (a) the breaking elongation of the multifilament B is ≥1.1 times and ≤3 times that of the multifilament A, (b) the fineness of the multifilament A is ≥1.5 times and ≤25 times that of the multifilament B, and (c) at the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the multifilament B, the distance from the boundary of the core/sheath conjugated polystyrene polymer and polyester polymer to the surface of the yarn is equal to or larger than the diameter of a inscribed circle of the core-constituting polystyrene.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
