PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of the digital scan converter of an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus.;SOLUTION: A multiport video RAM is used as a frame memory 3 and data obtained by digitally converting an input echo signal with an A/D converter 1 is inputted to an FIFO memory 2 and the output of the FIFO memory is inputted to the multiport video RAM. Sixteen output data of the A/D converter are set to one cycle and the writing of data is performed by the first half thereof and lead transmission/refresh is performed by the latter half thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
