PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such that sterilizing processing of an electric switch provided at an ultrasonic medical operation device is difficult. SOLUTION: A gas channel 14 is formed in the ultrasonic medical operation device 10 and an operator opens and closes a pressure adjusting hole 18 to control the on/off of driving of an ultrasonic oscillator 30. Namely, the channel 14 is applied with suction force from the suction pump 46 of a main body part 12 to suck outside air from the hole 18. The conductance of the channel 14 is varied by the adjustment of the opening of the hole 18 and the pressure of the channel 14 is varied with this adjustment. The pressure switch 48 of the part 12 detects this pressure variation and the on/off of an oscillation driving circuit 64 is controlled in accordance with its detecting result.
