PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modifying method for an existing outer wall capable of performing modification safely in a short term of work.;SOLUTION: According to this modifying method, plural embedded rods 11 are embedded in a vertical wall 3 of the existing wall 2, an adjusting bolt 12 rotatably connected to a support bar 13 is screwed in a female screw hole 11a of each embedded rod 11, and the adjusting bolt 12 is rotated to adjust projecting and recessing of the support bar 13. After that, a vertical outer wall material 21 of a pew outer wall material 20 is installed. In this modifying method, welding is not needed so that it is safe. Modification can be performed by embedding work for the embedded rod 11, screwing in and rotating work for the adjusting bolt 12, and work for installing the vertical outer wall material 12 of the new outer wall material 20, so the term of modifying work is short.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
