PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact high speed/low speed switching mechanism of a hydraulic motor that can be easily loaded on a car body and integrally assembled to the hydraulic motor and the hydraulic motor comprising the mechanism.;SOLUTION: This mechanism has first, second and third swelled parts 21a, 21b, 21c slidably engaged with internal walls w1, w2, w3 of a cylinder chamber V formed in a block part 20 and comprises a spool 21 capable of reciprocating axially with sliding, a spring body 22 energizing the spool 21 to one of the axial directions, a hydraulic pressure inlet port 23 for inlet of the same level of hydraulic pressure as hydraulic fluid of the hydraulic motor into a first small space v1, and a hydraulic pressure outlet port 24 for outlet of the hydraulic pressure from the first small space v1 and for using it to keep inclination of a cam 12 to a high speed side.
