PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a market participation decision-making support device which is adapted to the reality of monopolistic competition.;SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a computation condition input means 2 which inputs a predicted total demand, a predicted unit production cost, a price/supply quantity ratio, and a probability distribution of the predicted total demand, a total demand generating means 2 which generates the predicted total demand according to the probability distribution, an optimum production quantity computing means 4 which computes the optimum production quantity of each competitive company at the predicted total demand, a selecting means 5 which decides and outputs market participant companies, a probability- classified processing result storage means 6 which stores and manages the market shares, sales, and profits of the market participant companies corresponding to the generated probability of the predictive total demand that the computation is based upon, and an expected value evaluating means 7 which computes companies significantly expected to participate in the market, the expected market shares of the respective market participant companies, expected sales, and expected profits.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
