PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a group reduction method and group reduction system allowing to collect users desiring to purchase commodities by group reduction and sell the commodities at reduced prices in an electronic commerce system for performing transactions of commodities through a network.;SOLUTION: A selling advertisement for a commodity to be reduced in price is performed through the network, and the information on users responding to the advertisement is managed. Further, when the commodity for which the user applied satisfies the advertisement condition, the price of the commodity for which the users applied is reduced according to a predetermined discount condition, and the selling of the commodity to the users is performed at the reduced price.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
