PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recognition slip with the content quantity of beverage material written thereon and a beverage material recognition device for reading it and operating a dispenser and the recognition slip.;SOLUTION: In the beverage dispenser, there are provided: a recognition slip 1 such as the magnetic card with the content quantity of the beverage material consisting of powder or a liquid written thereon; and a writing means 2 for writing the content quantity of the beverage material disposed outside. There are further provided a reading means 3 for reading the slip 1 and a delivery quantity control means 4 for controlling the delivery quantity of the beverage material by a signal from this means 3. Furthermore, there is a recognition slip destroying means 5 to magnetically, mechanically, etc., destroy the slip 1 by the means 5 so as not to be used again after the slip 1 card with the content quantity of the beverage material written thereon is read by the means 3. Finally, there is a beverage material residual quantity display means 7 to display the residual quantity of the beverage material in the dispenser D to give information on the replenishment time of the beverage material.
