PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core hold apparatus for heat generation roller which can retain a roller core with sufficient holding force with simple construction.;SOLUTION: The core hold apparatus for heat generation roller 305 is characterized by the construction in which a part of a holding member 330 inserted from both ends of a hollow-roller-shaped light conductive substrate 307 is expanded radially to press contact to the inner surface of the light conductive substrate 307, a part of external form of the holding member 330 and the end face of the light conductive substrate 307 are press contacted by narrowing the distance between the holding members by using an adjustment means 341, and then the light conductive substrate 307 is retained by being sandwiched.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
