PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke having a deflection coil with reduced power consumption.;SOLUTION: A front bend 10c of the saddle type deflection coil 10 is formed to be set back to a rear bend 10a, permitting a wire of the front bend 10c to be shorter. The front bend 10c set back to the rear bend 10a is formed in a normal direction to the tube face of a CRT 31. The front bend 10c is mounted on the outer face of a small diameter portion close to a neck portion of the CRT 31. The wire of the front bend 10c is greatly shorter than before, whereby a resistance value for the whole deflection yoke 10 is decreased and power consumption is reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
