PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect two optical waveguide parts in such a manner that grooves for optical waveguides respectively disposed at these parts are connected to each other.;SOLUTION: The first optical waveguide parts 17 which are formed with the groove 12 for the optical waveguide on a substrate 11 and are formed with recessed parts 13 for positioning in the predetermined position on the surface of the substrate 11 and second optical waveguide parts 18 of similar constitution are connected to each other by using pins 14 in such a manner that the groove 12 for the optical waveguide of the first optical waveguide parts 17 and the groove 12 for the optical waveguide of the first optical waveguide parts 18 are connected to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
