The hand puppet (1) is flexible and has a head and body actuated by the fingers. The head has a releasable retainer for the fingers. The head can be formed a simple bulb made from the material of the puppet and the finger retainer can be a loop (2) in the bulb to receive the finger. The loop can be formed by a strap attached at its ends.
