Invention patent: "algorithm for estimating phase of antenna for transmitting antenna diversity system in a closed loop WCDMA.The present invention teaches a process for use in a telecommunications system CDMA broadband in which the base station (BS) uses antenna diversity transmitter.The process enables the user equipment (UE) to perform a channel estimation for channels received from two antennas of the base station (BS) and includes the steps of: (a) to compute a phase difference esTimada between a common pilot channel and a pilot channel received from a dedicated antenna among two antennas; and (b) determining the estimation of channel by the rotation of a common pilot channel estimation of theAccording to the phase difference estimate, where the phase difference is computed as a coefficient complex between the channel common pilot channel and the dedicated pilot.In a second aspect of the present invention teaches a process for use in a system for antenna diversity transmitter to enable the EU to verify a deviation of phase advance signal of antennaGiven by the EU to BS.This process includes a first step of: (a) to exploit prior knowledge of angle of rotation of the BS by considering a vector a x MV which includes all hypotheses for coefficients of rotation Co.Mplexos of BS with respect to all possible rotation angles according to a rule of decision for an estimation of a coefficient of rotation complex.A second phase of the process evaluates a cost function for a chance m by considering the prior knowledge.
