A process for producing an Aromatic Polymer monovinilideno has a distinct bimodal Molecular Weight Distribution that includes: a) A VINYL Aromatic monomer to polymerize catiu00f3nicamenteIn the presence of a carbokation Generator to produce a First Polymer composition comprising: (i) a monovinilideno Aromatic polymer of low molecular weight which has a Weight moLecular Average Molecular Weight (MW) from 1, 000 to 5,000; and polymerizing an Aromatic Vinyl monomer in the presence of the first Polymer composition under conditions of Free radical polymerisation to a level of termination from 70 to95 percent, to produce a Second Polymer composition comprising: (ii) a fraction of monovinilideno Aromatic polymer of high molecular weight that has a MW from 135000 to 400,000, (iii) The fraction of monovinilideno Aromatic polymer of low molecular weight which has a Weight Average Molecular Weight of from 1000 to 5000.
