PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device for a bicycle speed changer capable of performing the shift operation over a plurality of shift ranges smoothly causing little shock.;SOLUTION: The shift control device 40 for the bicycle applies to a rear-outer mounted speed changer 31 having a plurality of shift ranges mounted on two bicycle and includes a control part 50. To the rear-outer mounted speed changer 31, the control part 50 outputs a specific speed signal of a bicycle speed sensing part 42 or a shift signal through operation of an upper and a lower shift switch, 22a, 23a. When one shift signal is outputted, a new shift signal is outputted after waiting the completion of shifting.
