Oral antineoplastic preparation based on megestrol-acetate

Described is an oral antineoplastic preparation based on megestrol-acetate that contains micronized megestrol-acetate in concentration of 1.5 to 15 percent by weight, in combination with polysorbate in concentration of 0.005 to 0.015 percent by weight and polyethylene glycol of molecular weight ranging from 400 to 4000 in concentration of 5 to 30 percent by weight, whereby the balance to 100 percent by weight is water. The preparation has the form of a flaky suspension in water.
