The exit region of the welding wire hole in the welding tip (7) is provided with a coating to which molten welding wire material does not stick. A welding gun (1) comprises a handle (2), a removable welding tip attached to the handle and provided with a hole for the welding wire (4) to pass through, and a welding wire feed. The welding wire hole exit region in the welding tip is provided with a coating comprising a material not sensitive to the adhesion of molten welding wire. Independent claims are also included for (a) the welding tip, and (b) a sleeve for a welding gun, provided with the above coating.
