The metal framework for a door consists of two vertical frame profiles (14), a transverse header profile (6) and two floor bracket assemblies (2). The floor brackets (2) are set into the floor. The lower ends of the vertical profiles are then lowered onto the outer ends (15) of the legs (13) of the floor brackets. The height of the vertical profiles are then adjusted and clamped using adjustment plates and securing bolts (20).
