The device for blocking a load comprises a horizontal surface (2) in combination with an oblique running surface (1) which issues into a round or four-sided hole (3). The load in question is a so-called Danish car as used in horticulture. The frame of this vehicle is provided with two pivot wheels and two box wheels of small format and made of hard plastic. Through the pivot wheel running into the hole, it is away from the ground and the Danish car is blocked.
