The hot runner (36) is connected to the central injection pipe (41) via at least one connecting channel (42) extending at right angles through the closure surface (37, 38) of the mold section (33, 34), inside the mold cavity (39, 40). A multi-level mould tool (30) for an injection-molding machine contains a hot runner with nozzles (46-49) leading off it into a number of mold cavities. A central injection pipe is used to supply injection-molding material. The hot runner is located in a middle section (35) of the mold tool, in between two mold levels (31, 32), each level containing a number of mold sections with a closure (product) surface extending at right angles to the central injection pipe. The hot runner is connected to the central injection pipe via at least one connecting channel extending at right angles through the closure surface, inside a cavity used to form the molded article. An Independent claim is also included for an injection-molding machine containing this mold tool.
