The system consists of a video module (30) and a number of audio modules (40). The analog video signal (31) is converted (32) to digital form. The audio inputs (41) are each fed to analog to digital converters (42) in the audio modules. All the digital audio signals are chained through the audio modules to a logical combining circuit (33) in the video module. The combined signal is reconverted (34) to analogue form.
