Prepn. of self-supporting sandwich structure elements from at least one solid polyurethane layer (A) and at least one polyurethane foam layer (B), characterised in that layer (A) contains 10-55 wt.% mica. Also claimed are (i) the elements; and (ii) composite structures contg. one of these elements.
