An overvoltage protection (5) supported on a laminate (2) is connected to conductors which are connected to the overvoltage protection (9, 10) on one side of the laminate. A means (8) for connecting the latter overvoltage protection to a coupling component is also mounted on the laminate. A spring clip (12b) secures an earth plate (12a) to a central pin (11) in the overvoltage protection on the opposite side of the laminate. The overvoltage can comprise e.g. an earth strip with a contact surface associated with the earth plate.
