The adjustable wrench comprises a body having a head portion (12) at one end and a handle portion (3) at the other end, the head being provided with two jaws (2, 2A), which are connected to each other by an adjustment screw (5) having opposed threads at each end (6, 7), respectively, and wherein the two jaws are provided with en opposed threads (80, 81), respectively for engagement with each end of the screw. Both jaws are moveable simultaneously and with the same distance from or towards the center line (C) of the wrench when the adjustment screw is turned.
