B-glycosyl derivatives of dopamine and its salts as potential dopamine replenishing agents in brain and its preparation process. The hypothesis of the invention is based on the ability of a carbohydrate moiety to act as a vector carrying the neurotransmitter into the brain tissue, where dopamine is released gradually by hydrolysis of the carbohydrate-binding dopamine. The compounds have the hexose linked to one of the catechol hydroxyls dopamine system by a glycosidic bond capable of being hydrolyzed by glycosidase enzymes type. They have potential as novel therapeutic agents in the treatment of diseases characterized by low levels of dopamine, such as Parkinson's disease utility diseases.
