The production of a protective sheet for red rose petals comprises incorporation of 0.1-0.4 per cent of benzo thiazol, and adjustment of the wavelength of the ultraviolet sunlight to 290-380 nanometres. Also claimed is the product of the process. CLAIMED PRODUCT - The product is extruded as a homogeneous material excluding virus attack and darkening of the edges of the flower petals.
