Application for the modular design of distributed control systems.The application permits the production of a distributed monitoring and control system (1), consisting of a bus control unit (2) for handling communications with the central system with the nodes through a modem (3). This unit consists of two blocks, one to control communications (4) and the other dedicated to detection of interrupt requests from the nodes (5). Each of the nodes (6) is controlled by an embedded PC (7) which enables them to perform self-contained control and a data acquisition and control system (8) directly coupled to sensors (9). The node performs intelligent control tasks and has the ability to learn the behaviour during alarms. In the central control (10), consisting of a PC, is an automatic software generator for display and control. There are also tools for installation and maintenance of the system.IMAGE
