The transfer case for liquid metals is formed by a monolithic refractory mass of very high mechanical and chemical resistance, cylindrical or quadrangular prismatic in shape, hollow, with no type of sharp edges in its interior, base and lateral unions being rounded by curved concave surfaces towards the interior. The upper base (3) has an entrance mouth of dimensions slightly less than the base, leaving an edge which is also rounded. Internally, the base of the case (1) is not flat, but is constituted by a promontory in the form of a conical trunk or pyramid.
