This invention is related with the obtention of a new naturalmixture composed by higher primary aliphatic alcohols, eventually inan extended range of 22 to 38 carbon atoms, specially those between24 and 34 carbon atoms and more specially those of 24, 26, 28, 30,32 and 34 carbon atoms. This mixture showy a relative composition ofeach alcohol that is highly reproducible from batch to batch and isobtained from bee wax.This natural mixture has been used, with efficacy, as an activeprinciple, in different pharmaceutical formulations used againstulcer, and/or protector of the gastric and duodenal mucose, andshows antiinflamatory activity administered by topical, oral orparenteral route.
