A pharmaceutical formulation for intraduodenal administration comprising atleast one pharmacologically active agent, with limitedsolubility in water and is dispersed in an aqueous carrier. According to theinvention, the active agent has a particle size not exceeding 20µm, and the aqueous carrier has a viscosity of at least 300 mPas, measuredat a moderate shear rate.
