A service control processor (100) includes a plurality of service featureprocessors (106a-106n), each corresponding to a selected telephone service,and a plurality of call processing records (104a, 104n), each corresponding toa customer of a service provider. The customer call processing records specifyservices subscribed to by the caller. A feature manager processor (102)manages call processing and the implementation and execution of services bymanaging the individual service feature processors. In an alternativeembodiment, multiple feature manager processors are included, and a triggermanager selects between them in response to call processing triggers.
