A method and system for enabling users to post trade leadnotices, view trade lead notices, and receive notification whena trade lead notice adhering to a criteria requested by the userbecomes available. An e-commerce facilitator comprising adigital computer coupled to a communications networkautomatically generates and operates multiple linked associatedwebsites (including websites whose display is presented indifferent languages) enabling users to gain remote electronicaccess to the services provided. The facilitator maintains acentral database common to all associated websites used forstoring trade lead notices, user profiles and a selection ofadvertisements. The facilitator correlates a sub-selection ofadvertisements with a particular user of the system dependentupon the data profile associated with that user. The facilitatoralso provides complement e-commerce services for users such ason-line auctions, integrated payment and shipping services, aswell as website and catalogue hosting services.
