The present invention provides a system and method of quantifying flow,detecting a location of an obstruction and quantifyinga degree of the obstruction in a pipe (200) characterized in pulsatile flow.The method includes the steps of, a) attaching at least twospaced pressure sensors (206) onto inner walls of the pipe (200); b) using theat least two spaced pressure sensors (206) for recordingpressure records associated with each of the at least two pressure sensors(206) within the pipe (200); and c) using the pressure records forquantifying the pulsatile flow in the pipe (200) for detecting the location ofthe obstruction in the pipe (200) and for quantifying the degreeof the obstruction in the pipe (200).
