An object of the present invention is to providean external wall construction capable of inhibitingwater penetration into the external wall constructionreliably; and a sealing fixture, an external wall panel,and an external wall constructing method, which areused for the external wall construction.In the external wall construction, a securingmetal fitting is installed at an upper side portion anda lower side portion of the external wall panel, andthe external wall panel is mounted on an underlayment.The external wall panel has a notched recess formed ona left side portion and a right side portion along thevertical direction. A sealing fixture is arrangedbetween the adjacent left and right external wallpanels. The sealing fixture has a base plate portionfixed to the underlayment, a rising plate portionerected at the base plate portion, and a front plateportion arranged at the rising plate portion, whereina front resilient material is provided at the front faceof the front plate portion. The front resilientmaterial and the front plate portion are engaged intoa notched recess of the external wall panel.
